Yul Edochie, a well-known actor, has urged Nigerians to exhibit patience towards President Bola Tinubu amid the uproar for demonstrations against governing authorities.

Edochie gave assurance that the President is attentive and emphasized his commitment towards rectifying any issues.

On Friday, the actor placed this call through his Instagram account.

He recognized the difficulties and expressed disapproval of protests, stating that some use them as a pretext to loot stores, vandalize property, harm or kill innocent Nigerians who are already suffering. He believes this ultimately undermines the purpose of protesting. The events from End SARS serve as an example.

The actor urged Nigerians to refrain from protesting and instead continue their efforts of speaking out and aiding the cause. He reassured citizens that President Tinubu is lending an ear and taking steps towards rectifying issues, therefore advocating for patience amongst his fellow countrymen.

Although he gave advice, it was not well-received as his followers held opposing opinions and criticized him severely.
