A guy from Madakiya village in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area has been arrested by the Kaduna State Police Command on suspicion of killing his father because the latter materialised in his dreams as an enigmatic bird.

The 20-year-old defendant David Felix confessed to killing his biological father at their house after seeing him as a human-faced bird in his dreams and trying to hurt him.

Before the man was arrested, the incident happened on September 30, 2023, according to the Command’s PPRO, ASP Mansir Hassan. He later acknowledged the offence and expressed regret during questioning at the State Police Command Headquarters.

“He said that he hit his father with a pestle while he was asleep and killed him after waking up.” After the investigation is finished, formal charges will be brought, according to the police.
