You lack ethical awareness: Gov. Alia’s CPS, Kula criticises Arise TV’s Rufai
Arise TV personality Rufai Oseni, who has been controversial, has come under fire from Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia, over his recent treatment of guests.
According to OBASANJONEWS24, Rufai and Jesutega Onokpasa, a prominent member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), got into a fight on Monday during a TV station programme.
Oseni, who was interviewing Onokpasa for the show, didn’t agree with the guest’s assessment of the nation’s overall economic status and President Bola Tinubu’s elimination of gasoline subsidies.

However, the event sparked emotions from Nigerians, especially those who favour the current government, who charged Rufai with bias.
In response to the event, Kula also accused the presenter of being unaware of journalistic ethics in a post on his official Facebook page.
“A responsible citizen of this country does not need to honour any programme on Arise TV that Rufai will be anchoring,” the author said.
“He sadly lacks basic manners, courtesy, and the principles of the profession and is blind to ethics.”
