Yahoo Boys’ Allegedly Exploit Woman, Leave Her on Osun Roadside
A woman was allegedly exploited and dumped by ‘Yahoo Boys’ on the roadside in Osun. Get the latest details on this alarming case.
An unidentified woman was found abandoned by the side of the road in Olaiya, Osogbo, Osun State on Tuesday, raising suspicions that she may be a victim of a ritual linked to internet fraudsters known as “Yahoo Boys”.
The woman appeared disoriented, exhibited abnormal behaviour, was unable to speak and was unable to recognise people and objects around her. This raised fears that she may have been ritually sacrificed.
She was found helpless at Ashikorai Street, where she was reportedly abandoned.
Worried about their condition, local shopkeepers reported the incident to Dugbe Police Station, Old Garage, who immediately alerted the authorities.
The business owners and residents of the area have come forward through their legal representatives, including Mr. Sikiru Sanni (Samurado Estate Agency) and Attorney K. A. Adebisi. Mr Bamigbola (Mama Dada) officially called for police intervention to investigate the incident and ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
The authorities are expected to thoroughly investigate the incident as concerns remain in the community over ritualistic acts involving vulnerable people.

“Though she was well dressed, we suspected that she may have fallen into the hands of some yahoo guys.
