According to reports, the woman who dove into the Lagos Lagoon on Thursday afternoon has been named.
Adetutu Adedokun is a member of the Department of State Services (DSS), according to a report from PM News on Friday.
After a contentious fight with her lover, who had just proposed to her, Adedokun reportedly leaped into the lagoon.
The Uber driver claimed that Adedokun and her partner got into a fight, and in the midst of it, she told him to stop and got out of the car.
She then made her way to the bridge’s handrails before jumping into the lagoon.
A search and rescue team has been organized to look for her corpse, according to Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, who verified the occurrence.
She was recognized as the finest unarmed combat operator in her set by the DG, DSS, only four months prior.
Regarding Adedokun’s fate, there have been conflicting reports. The search for her body is still going on, according to other reports, despite Instablog reporting that she was rescued yesterday.
