Woman Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Lagos-Badagry Road
A hit-and-run driver killed a woman on Lagos-Badagry Expressway, leaving authorities investigating the tragic incident and urging witnesses to come forward.
On Friday morning, a woman pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver on the Mowo axis of the Agbara-Badagry Expressway.
At 6.00 am, the accident transpired as conveyed by Mr William Manga who serves as the Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps in Badagry Unit while speaking with News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Badagry.
The command was informed of the accident at 11.25 am and its personnel reached the location at 11.26 am, he reported.
An unknown vehicle operator was involved in the accident that took place at the Mosafejo-Mowo stretch of Badagry Expressway.

He said that the victim had suffered head injuries and passed away prior to our team’s arrival at the scene.
According to Manga, the deceased had been transported to Badagry’s General Hospital mortuary.
According to him, there was no recovery made from the victim.
Pedestrians were urged by the unit commander to exercise greater caution when crossing expressways.
Motorists were urged by Manga to abide by speed limits and comply with other traffic rules and regulations.
