Woman Faces Trouble for Locking Up Her 3 Grandchildren in Lagos
The Lagos State Police Command has successfully rescued three children who were reportedly locked up in a room by their grandmother.
The spokesperson for the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed this development to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.
The infants, consisting of a girl and two boys aged between two and four, were saved by the Ikotun Police Division after receiving information from concerned members of the public at around 4.00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The children were found in a malnourished and unhealthy state. The grandmother, whose identity has been withheld, has been arrested, and the children will be transferred for proper treatment and care. The investigation is currently ongoing.
