Woman accused of attacking husband for conversing with girlfriends detained in jail
A Shari’a court in Kano has placed Hafsa Ibrahim under remand after she injured her husband Jamilu Muhammad with a neighbourhood pressing iron and tore 90 sets of his clothes to pieces.
After suspecting her husband was using his phone to talk to other women, the woman was said to have taken action.

Using a local iron, Hafsa struck her husband in the head, causing injuries, according to the prosecutor, Usman Shuaibu Dala, who addressed the court.
Additionally, Dala revealed to the court that she took his N80,000 phone and used scissors to rip 90 sets of his garments to bits.
Hafsa, nevertheless, refuted the claims.
Case number 11 of 2023 has been postponed by Khadi Umar Sunusi Dan Baba.
