The Grammy-winning musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by his stage as Wizkid, is honouring his late mother Jane Morayo Balogun with the release of his sixth studio album, “Morayo.”
The “Essence” hitmaker revealed that the album, which bears his mother’s name, will be released “very soon” in a video message that he posted on social media on Saturday.

“My album ‘Morayo,’ dedicated to my mother, the love of my life, drops very soon,” stated Wizkid. Avoid being boring. Avoid going to sleep.

Remember that on August 18, 2023, Wizkid lost his mother, Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, in London? She was buried in Nigeria after that.

“The pain is profound,” he continued.
