Haruna Musa, a kidnapper, bemoaned the two million naira he lost from the kidnapping.

The 28-year-old man from Farang in Adamawa State’s Fufore Local Government Area said to newsmen in Yola on Thursday that he wasted all of the money he received and didn’t spend it on anything worthwhile.

Nine individuals were detained and paraded at the Yola headquarters of the Adamawa State Police, including Musa.
I didn’t kill anyone, but I did take part in an operation when my other coworkers and I kidnapped a Shuaibu from Malabu, the man claimed.

During the suspects’ march, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the police public relations officer, said that the accused had been detained by members of the Crack Squad leadership.

According to Nguroje, “the police apprehended them in collaboration with neighborhood hunters from Gombi LGA.”

He noted that before charging the accused with a crime, Commissioner of Police Afolabi Adeniyi had mandated additional investigation.
