Wike’s Role in APC Government Will Spell Doom for PDP, Says Ex-Publicity Secretary Ologbodiyan

Former PDP Publicity Secretary Kola Ologbodiyan warns that Nyesom Wike’s participation in the APC-led government could weaken and potentially collapse the PDP’s structure.

Kola Ologbodiyan, the former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated that Nyesom Wike’s involvement as FCT Minister in governing the All Progressives Congress (APC) has paved the way for PDP’s decline.

Ologbodiyan alleged that efforts are being made to turn the Peoples Democratic Party into a subsidiary or extension of the All Progressives Congress.

The statement has been issued in the context of the continuing leadership crisis within the PDP.

He made this statement while answering questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show program on Tuesday.

He stated: “Firstly, I want to emphasize that as a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, anything Debo Ologunagba announces represents the official stance of the party since he is our National Publicity Secretary.”

I am closely tied to the statement that Sunday Ude Okoye is recognized by the party on legitimate and constitutional grounds, as firmly asserted. Until he states otherwise, I believe this remains consistent with constitutional principles.
