On Wednesday, Governor Nyesom Wike came back to Rivers State from a trip to a country in Europe.
Before the planned opening next week, the governor went to check on some projects.
Wike was with Governor-elect Sim Fubara and top Julius Berger officials, among other people.
The 12th flyover bridge and the new Magistrate Court building in the city, Port Harcourt, are the two projects.
In the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area (LGA), the flyover is at the busy intersection of Rumuokwuta and Rumuola.
In the Port Harcourt City Local Government Area (LGA), the Magistrate Court was built on Moscow Road.
The head of Rivers said that President-elect Bola Tinubu will start work on the projects on May 3.
