The endorsement of Peter Obi of the Labour Party by former President Olusegun Obasanjo has led Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike to make fun of Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential nominee.
The governor said that Obasanjo’s decision not to back Atiku showed that Atiku, who was Obasanjo’s vice president from 1999 to 2003, has a lot of problems.
The governor thought it was funny that the man who built the same legacy that Atiku was running on didn’t back him but instead backed Obi.
He was speaking on Monday at the beginning of a road project in the state’s Emohua Local Government Area.
