Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been threatened with legal action by the North Central APC Forum if he interferes with the business of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Speaking on Tuesday in Jos, Plateau State, Forum Chairman Alhaji Saleh Mandung Zazzaga said Wike shouldn’t be permitted to get too involved in PDP matters because he serves as an officer of the APC Federal Government.
According to Zazzaga, it would not be in the interests of the APC for Wike to become involved in PDP matters.

“We are cautioning Wike against getting himself involved in the PDP crisis, talk more about making any moves to resolve it since the party is still seeing him as their member,” he said.
But because we are aware that it won’t always be in the best interests of the APC, where Wike is holding an appointed post, we in the APC are not at ease with Wike’s relationship with the PDP.
So rather than the opposition PDP, Wike’s loyalty and friendship should be felt by the APC.
“We will keep expressing our concern over Wike’s romance with the PDP because many of their leaders are still not showing their support for the APC government and President Bola Tinubu’s leadership after his victory in the February presidential elections,” the group said.
He claims that the recent viral video of Wike at home with PDP senator and former Senate president Bukola Saraki has raised doubts inside the APC.
