On Saturday, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike was praised by President Bola Tinubu for his “exceptional leadership at a trying time for the country.”
Wike is a team leader who keeps his word, Tinubu emphasised.
He was speaking at the Federal Capital Territory’s (FCT) Guzape District road inauguration.
“It has been a very challenging time for us in the country,” the president was quoted as saying in a statement released by Tinubu’s spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale. In order to provide prosperity and assistance to the citizens of this nation, we are continuously retooling and rearranging our financial system.
“You have proven that you are able to assemble a team, guide a team, and keep your word. I’m proud of you; good job.

Speaking also, Wike stated that the contract was first given to Dantata & Sawoe Construction Company Nigeria Limited and Gilmor Engineering Limited in 2003, for a total estimated cost of N14 billion, divided into lots 1 and 2.
Since government is a continuous process, Wike praised Tinubu for continuing with the project.
Dantata had been gone from the area for a while. The president approved a memorandum to that effect, therefore we had to bring them back,” he stated.
