Wike: Fubara Asserts No Crisis in Rivers, Emphasizes Focus Under Pressure
Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has emphasized that there is no ongoing crisis in the state. Instead, he highlighted that his administration is fully dedicated to providing good governance to the people of Rivers State.
During a meeting with the House of Representatives Committee on Public Petitions, Fubara expressed his commitment to serving the people and assured that the political pressure would only strengthen their resolve.
He drew inspiration from the movie “Devil’s Advocate,” where Al Pacino’s character stated that pressure can either cause people to retreat or become more focused on succeeding.
Fubara chose to remain focused and continue making a positive impact on the lives of the people, emphasizing that governance is about meeting the core needs of the citizens. Despite previous conflicts with his predecessor, Fubara remains determined to lead the state effectively.
