Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, criticizes PDP governors, claiming they secretly support President Tinubu at night while publicly opposing him.

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has alleged that several governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are double-crossing President Bola Tinubu.

Wike alleges that the governors express affection for the president after dark but vocalize contrasting sentiments in daylight.

During the state congress of the PDP on Saturday, the ex-governor of Rivers State addressed attendees at their Secretariat in Port Harcourt.

Furthermore, he elucidated on his choice to oppose the PDP in the presidential election.

Wike stated that due to their lack of regard for justice, fairness, and equity in the preceding presidential election, he has chosen to oppose PDP.

According to Wike, he openly declared in 2023 that he would not back PDP for the presidential election as it denied equity, fairness and justice. He stands by his decision today without any remorse.
