Discover how Wike is commissioning projects abandoned since 2010 as APC rebukes PDP governors. A political clash unfolds.
Following the Governors meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu on Wednesday, a strong criticism has been voiced against them by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to OBASNAJONEWS24, PDP-affiliated governors convened in Enugu on Wednesday and subsequently charged the APC with harming both Nigeria’s economy and institutions.
According to reports, the PDP governors convened a meeting to deliberate on various national concerns such as the recent Supreme Court ruling which authorized financial independence for local government councils in Nigeria and difficulties like economic hardship and food inflation experienced by Nigerians.
In a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC declared that the PDP governors are inheritors of a shameful history characterized by corruption and destruction. Consequently, they lack the moral and political credibility to accuse others or make unfounded allegations.

Despite such financial gain, hardworking citizens continue to suffer with unaddressed issues like mounting unpaid salaries and pensions.
Despite failing to pay their own workers the legal minimum wage, several PDP governors came together and accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of delaying approval for a new minimum wage. This was done without any sense of shame on behalf of these governors.
It is unnecessary to remind Nigerians about the PDP’s unsavory 16-year reign, in which they failed to construct anything noteworthy and left no lasting legacy.
The current APC-led government, under the leadership of its renowned Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Wike, is finally bringing to completion and launching multiple road projects in FCT. These were awarded and funded as far back as 2003 and 2010 but had been carelessly abandoned by preceding PDP administrations.
“The PDP’s sustained petroleum subsidy regime and parallel foreign exchange regimes enabled reckless pillaging of our commonwealth, resulting in a significant blow to the nation’s economy that the APC government is diligently working on restoring.”
APC stated that the eventual prosperity brought to all Nigerians by necessary corrective policies will far surpass any fleeting difficulties.
