Discover how Wike is commissioning projects abandoned since 2010 as APC rebukes PDP governors. A political clash unfolds.

Following the Governors meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Enugu on Wednesday, a strong criticism has been voiced against them by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to OBASNAJONEWS24, PDP-affiliated governors convened in Enugu on Wednesday and subsequently charged the APC with harming both Nigeria’s economy and institutions.

According to reports, the PDP governors convened a meeting to deliberate on various national concerns such as the recent Supreme Court ruling which authorized financial independence for local government councils in Nigeria and difficulties like economic hardship and food inflation experienced by Nigerians.

In a statement released by its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, APC declared that the PDP governors are inheritors of a shameful history characterized by corruption and destruction. Consequently, they lack the moral and political credibility to accuse others or make unfounded allegations.

APC has stated that governors belonging to the opposing party lack comprehension of certain issues.

Rewritten: The role they play and the duties they bear in our governmental framework.

“Their understanding is limited.

As chief executives of their states, they carry a weighty responsibility to justify the utilization of resources in order to construct and strengthen their domestic economies for the betterment of their citizens.

incompetence. Instead, the governors of PDP seem to remain passive observers and unproductive beneficiaries, pointing their fingers at the federal government for all issues without acknowledging their own shortcomings.

The statement pointed out that they had failed spectacularly in providing even the most basic services to their citizens.

Delta State, which has been under the PDP’s governance since 1999 and is the top beneficiary of federal allocation in Nigeria, serves as a prime example of the party’s corruption, mismanagement and overall lack of progress. Despite such financial gain, hardworking citizens continue to suffer with unaddressed issues like mounting unpaid salaries and pensions.

Despite failing to pay their own workers the legal minimum wage, several PDP governors came together and accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of delaying approval for a new minimum wage. This was done without any sense of shame on behalf of these governors.

It is unnecessary to remind Nigerians about the PDP’s unsavory 16-year reign, in which they failed to construct anything noteworthy and left no lasting legacy.

The current APC-led government, under the leadership of its renowned Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), His Excellency Barrister Nyesom Wike, is finally bringing to completion and launching multiple road projects in FCT. These were awarded and funded as far back as 2003 and 2010 but had been carelessly abandoned by preceding PDP administrations.

“The PDP’s sustained petroleum subsidy regime and parallel foreign exchange regimes enabled reckless pillaging of our commonwealth, resulting in a significant blow to the nation’s economy that the APC government is diligently working on restoring.”

APC stated that the eventual prosperity brought to all Nigerians by necessary corrective policies will far surpass any fleeting difficulties.

According to the Post’s report on Thursday, Mr Obama informed several allies that it was important for Mr Biden, his erstwhile vice-president, to thoroughly contemplate whether he could continue with his campaign.

In a letter addressed to Mr. Biden, Congressman Jamie Raskin of Maryland drew comparisons between the President and an aging baseball pitcher – noting that there would be no shame in stepping down from office for good while basking in the overflowing appreciation of supporters when one’s arm grows weary.

“Baseless conjecture from anonymous sources,” is how TJ Ducklo, a senior adviser to the Biden campaign, dismissed reports of grandee concern.

“He’s running for re-election,” he wrote on X, referring to Joe Biden as his party’s nominee.

Quentin Fulks, the deputy campaign manager stated that Mr. Biden was firm on his position and not changing anything despite any circumstances. He requested politeness but expressed uncertainty about how many times they have to repeat this fact as the president has made a decision.

On Thursday, Presidential physician Kevin O’Connor mentioned that Mr. Biden is experiencing minor upper respiratory symptoms linked to Covid-19; however, he has no fever.

Upon his arrival in the US on Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is anticipated to meet with The White House.
