Why Tinubu would win the 2023 elections easily – Ribadu
Bola Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, is expected to win the general election of 2023 by a landslide, according to Nuhu Ribadu, a former candidate for president and director of the Directorate of stakeholder relations in the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC).
He did, however, issue a warning about taking opposition parties and their candidates for granted.
Yesterday in Abuja, Ribadu gave a speech at the 132-member directorate of stakeholders’ relations of the campaign council’s inaugural meeting.
The first Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) declared to the members of the directorate: “Fortunately for us, our job is set out for us. We have the product that is now the most marketable. There isn’t a single candidate who is superior to ours.
Asiwaju Tinubu is a maverick politician, a thoroughbred administrator, and a successful human being. He can demonstrate anything from his illustrious past. He won’t pick anything up on the job.
He also has a sizable network of friends and acquaintances spread all over Nigeria, which greatly facilitates our outreach efforts. Even though we will easily win this election, we shouldn’t take any chances.
“We shouldn’t underestimate our adversaries. We should put in a lot of effort to increase our margin of victory so that it would be enormous and delicious.
The Directorate was established by the founding National Chairman of the APC, Bisi Akande, who also expressed satisfaction with the performance of the APC-led government since May 29, 2015.
Aminu Sani Jaji, the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Contact and Mobilization for the Northwest Region, also stated that the 2023 election is a chance to repay Asiwaju Tinubu for his contributions to the area.
Former House of Representatives member Jaji remembered that the Northwest must rally support and ensure victory for the Tinubu/Shettima joint ticket in the 2023 presidential election after having backed President Muhammadu Buhari for the previous seven and a half years.
“Paying back Asiwaju Tinubu, who helped our son (President Buhari) win the presidency twice, is the finest thing we can do in 2023, according to the president. It’s time to repay what the other zone done for our son, President Buhari, a parent and a role model.
“We all witnessed how the residents of the Southwest stood their ground and gave him unwavering support throughout.
Therefore, it is time to support Asiwaju Tinubu wholeheartedly, subject to the requirement that he make the North especially great.
