The late musician Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad,’s father, Joseph Aloba, has expressed his resentment towards Omowunmi, his late son’s wife.

The man claimed that he despises Mohbad’s wife because he thinks she cursed their son, preventing him from taking care of him.

At a Lagos State coroner’s court on Wednesday, Mohbad’s father made this revelation. He also went into great detail in an audio recording that has gone viral to explain why his son, who is said to have had magical abilities from Omowunmi, preferred to waste money on his in-laws rather than on him.

Additionally, he said that while his son was still living, the woman was having affairs with other men at Marlian’s home.

“I used to get jobs as a carpenter, building houses for folks. But that’s not how my son saw me. He said, “He preferred to give (money) to his in-laws.”

“I hate her because everything that happened was so beyond natural.”

He said, “And from there, she would enter the room of another man.”

He said that before his death, he was informed of this by Mohbad, whose fiancée had discovered that he was sleeping with someone else.

“She was subsequently greeted there by the person she was seeing’s girlfriend. That individual was the one who told Moh the secret, and Moh told me,” he said.

At the age of 27, Mohbad is said to have passed away from an ear infection on September 12, 2023. His passing has since aroused debates.

Azeez Fashola, a well-known artist who used the stage name Naira Marly, was his former boss and is currently being held in connection with the killing of the man.
