President Muhammadu Buhari has given a reason why Nigerians living in Doha, Qatar, should support President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
Buhari urged Nigerians living abroad to support Tinubu’s administration so that Nigeria can continue to be an inspiration to other African nations and a source of hope and prosperity for the continent.
Malam Garba Shehu, the President’s press secretary, said in a statement on Wednesday that the President made the request during a town hall meeting on Tuesday as part of his visit to the State of Qatar.

Buhari urged them to “support the forthcoming government of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu” in order for Nigeria to continue serving as a symbol of optimism and prosperity for the continent and a role model for other African nations to follow.
According to Obasanjonews24, Tinubu would assume control of the government on May 29.
After defeating candidates like Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, the former governor of Lagos State was proclaimed the victor of the presidential election held on February 25.
