US President Joe Biden talks to reporters aboard Air Force One on his way back from Israel.

The faces of Delta Force team members were visible in the quickly removed Instagram snap.

On Wednesday, while US President Joe Biden was returning from Israel, his social media staff posted a picture of him shaking hands with American special forces soldiers stationed there without removing their faces or other identifying details.

The now-deleted Instagram post on the White House account claims that Biden “met with first responders to thank them for their bravery and the work they’re doing in response to the Hamas terrorist attack.”

Four guys were visible in the original image, sporting American flag patches, and it was shortly determined that they were all members of the prestigious Combat Applications Group (CAG), also known as the Delta Force and Task Force Green.

According to intelligence expert Sam Shoemate, the message was deleted within an hour even though “hundreds of thousands” of individuals had already watched it. The faces of the special operatives were erased from a screenshot Shoemate shared on X, the former Twitter, but not their tattoos, as numerous commenters noted. More than three million people have seen it.

Shoemate stated on X that “this is a massive failure” for the Biden administration.

Former US Army Green Beret Joe Kent, a Republican running for Congress in the western state of Washington, was one of the many people who responded to the discovery.

According to Kent on X, the Biden administration “operates at the intersection of hubris, malice, and incompetence.” Nothing better than revealing the identity of our soldiers to every terrorist on the planet is a way to express gratitude for carrying out our country’s most hazardous tasks.

Because several Americans are among the 200 or so hostages that Hamas grabbed in the raid on October 7 that started the most recent violent conflict, there were rumours that CAG had been sent to Cyprus or another nation in the vicinity. A CAG agent was subsequently sighted in Tel Aviv prior to Biden’s visit, during which the US president reaffirmed his unwavering support for Israel and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s campaign against Hamas.

In the meantime, HuffPost ran a story asserting that Biden’s open support for Israel has led to a “culture of silence” and self-censorship among the Muslim and particularly Palestinian employees in his administration, with several officials asserting there is no diversity in the “inner, inner circle” of the White House that actually determines policy.
