The epitaph that popular Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, or Teni, wants to be written on her grave has been made public.

“She lived life on her own terms,” the 30-year-old said she wants her loved ones to state in her will.

As a guest on the most recent episode of the actor Temisan Emmanuel Ahwieh’s podcast, Tea With Tay, which is hosted by Taymesan, she revealed this.

Teni stated, “When I was two years old, my father passed away. Even if you pass away today, life goes on. No room for expression for you.

You should always express yourself. Everyone who condemns you will perish as well. Thus, they would pass away having told their own tales. You pass away with your own narrative. To let the world know who I am, I’m living my life according to my terms.

“I sing when I’m happy or sad because it’s my choice to do so. I’m free to express myself on my own. I won’t stay in this place indefinitely. There is no chance of any of us surviving to the end.

I want it to be inscribed on my headstone, ‘She lived life on her own terms.’ My goal is to pass away joyfully. I’ll pass away empty.

Many individuals have greatness within them, but they are hesitant to exhibit it. There are countless hopes and abilities buried there, I assure you. things that could have altered the course of history.
