on

Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential nominee, has promised to accept defeat in good faith.

Atiku argued that since he wouldn’t be the first loser, he would accept his defeat with grace.

“I am not the first loser, nor am I going to be the last,” Atiku stated on BBC Pidgin on Tuesday.

Atiku denied allegations of corruption against him as well, stating that he had been looked into and nothing had been found.

“From what I understand, I have been investigated more than anyone else in this nation for any claims of corruption, and nothing has been uncovered against me. Nothing new has been revealed by that recording, he claimed.

The former vice president added that he wished to leave his children and the next generation a better Nigeria.
