Contrary to claims made on Monday by the People of Biafra, IPOB, and the Eastern Security Network, ESN, they have assisted in reducing claimed state-sponsored armed militia activity in the region.
IPOB said that its goal in establishing the ESN was to protect South East territory from terrorists posing as herders in the region’s bushes and woodlands.
“IPoB and ESN rather, without a doubt, assisted to restrict the expansion of state-backed armed militias in the South East, who are the cause of the instability in the zone,” according to a statement made by IPoB spokesperson Emma Powerful and others.
To protect our area from marauding Fulani terrorists who pose as herders in the jungles and forests of Biafraland, we formed the ESN organization.
“In an effort to use IPoB as leverage for financial gain from the federal government, the Nigerian government and its politicians funded illegal armed organizations in the South East.
The fact that our people now know the truth and appreciate ESN for protecting our farmlands is heartening.
Many of our bushes are now safe and secure, and our farmers can walk to their fields without worrying about being killed like wild animals or having their women and ladies raped on their property.
“IPOB is using diplomatic and strategic maneuvers to counter the Nigerian government’s bombardment of media smears and extortion.
IPoB was illegally outlawed by the Nigerian government, and we were labeled terrorists for wanting to control our area.
What a disgusting group of individuals, they failed to appear in their own court to defend themselves when we sued them about the proscription.
However, it gives us great joy that other nations and international organizations recognize us as a nonviolent, non-violent movement fighting for the liberation of our people.
“The government of Nigeria continues to make every effort to portray IPOB as a violent movement in the eyes of the international world.
Thankfully, we live in the information era rather than the year 1967.
The international world has intelligence sources that provide genuine information outside of the propaganda of the Nigerian government.
Despite being outlawed, detained, tortured, and kidnapped forcibly in Biafra and Nigeria, IPoB nevertheless enjoys a positive reputation with the international community.

In contrast to the lawless Nigerian government, IPOB still enjoys a positive image with the international community despite their proscription, arrests, torture, and forcible abductions in Biafra and Nigeria.
What infiltrators, saboteurs, provocateur agents, and those paid to damage IPoB’s reputation don’t realize is that violent movements often aren’t given a seat at the international community’s round table or an audience.
Have you ever observed a terrorist organization communicating with a worldwide audience and having legal counsel?
“We have received attention from all around the world because we are neither aggressive or terrorists, as the Nigerian government and its corrupt officials have labeled us while defending their brothers who have made all of Northern Nigeria insecure.
Anybody who engages in murder, abduction, carjacking, or ransom demands in the name of IPOB or Nnamdi Kanu is an adversary and has no place in the IPOB movement’s fight to reestablish Biafra.
Because criminal activity restricts our freedom, we must all work together with IPOB and ESN to ferret out both sponsored and lone criminals in our nation.
“A big issue for Nigeria is the positive ties IPOB has had with the international world despite all the intense lobbying against us. Because of this, the Nigerian government continues to accuse some nations of aiding IPOB in its efforts to destabilize Nigeria, although their accusations are unfounded.
