We are not concerned about members leaving to join APC – Benue PDP

The Benue State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) remains undisturbed by the defection of its members to the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to the state PDP Publicity Secretary, Mr Bemgba Iortyom. In a statement released in Makurdi, Iortyom acknowledged the departure of two party officials, Mr Yandev Amaabai and Mr Mbakorlumun Chia, to the APC.

He mentioned that both officials are scheduled to be received into the ruling party at a ceremony on January 4, and the PDP wishes them success in their political journey. Iortyom also acknowledged that the migration of politicians from the opposition to the ruling party has become a common occurrence in Nigerian politics.
