Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will travel to Togo on Tuesday for the WAFU U-20 Championship, aiming to showcase their talent and compete for the title in the regional tournament.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria are set to depart for Lome, Togo, on Tuesday to participate in the WAFU B U-20 Championship.
Aliyu Zubairu’s team is currently training in Ikenne to finalize their preparations for the upcoming competition.
The holders will relocate to Togo two days prior to the commencement of the competition.
The contest is set to begin on Thursday, October 17th.
On the same day, hosts Togo will face off against Benin Republic in the competition’s opening match.
The Flying Eagles will play their first game against Burkina Faso at Stade Municipal on Friday, October 18.
They will also face off against Côte d’Ivoire on October 24, wrapping up the three-team Group B.
