WAEC Announces 2025 WASSCE Registration and Assessment Dates

WAEC has announced key dates for the 2025 WASSCE registration and assessment submissions. Stay updated on the important deadlines for the upcoming exams.

Important deadlines have been issued for schools preparing to nominate participants in the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). These schools must complete their recognition procedures and provide Continuous Assessment Scores (CASS) on time.

These essential tasks have been given a final deadline of December 13, 2024 by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

WAEC announced on Tuesday that the portals for school recognition and CASS data upload are open to prepare for the 2025 WASSCE. Mr. A. Adebolu, Head of Exams for the Branch Controller, relayed this information in a statement directed at principals under reference number BN/ZC/MOE/15/VOL.2/139.

From September 2 to December 13, 2024, the school recognition portal will be accessible. Schools that wish to nominate candidates for WASSCE in 2025 must complete their recognition procedure within this timeframe.

It is recommended for schools to complete their applications and make required payments during this time frame in order to prevent any potential issues at the last minute.

The window for uploading CASS 1 & 2 data will run from September 2 until December 20,2024. It is mandatory that all schools have their CASS information uploaded by this deadline in order to comply with regulations.

It is crucial to follow the deadlines set by WAEC as their portals will promptly close at midnight on the indicated dates. Any late submissions or requests for extensions after portal closure will not be entertained.
