On Wednesday, Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurated the newly redesigned Kano Governor’s Office complex at the Government House in Kano.
The complex, which was constructed in 1967 by the late Commissioner of Police Audu Bako, now features a revamped council chamber, an executive conference hall, and a VIP lounge. The Vice President was joined by Governor Abba Yusuf, Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr Tajudeen Abbas, Deputy Senate President Sen.
Barau Jibril, Sen. Kawu Sumaila, and Deputy Governor Aminu Gwarzo. Shettima praised Governor Yusuf for his political commitment in ensuring the timely completion of the project. He also highlighted that the remodeled office, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, will provide an optimal working environment for future governors and staff.
The Vice President extended his congratulations to Governor Yusuf and the executive council for their successful efforts.
