On Tuesday, the Federal High Court in Abuja recognised Victor Oye as the rightful and genuine National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, or APGA.

Edozie Njoku, who had staked a claim to the top position in the political party, was expelled by the court.

In a ruling, Judge James Omotoso stated that it was evident from the rulings of the Federal High Court, Court of Appeals, and later Supreme Court that Victor Oye is the rightful National Chairman of the party.

Edozie Njoku, according to Judge Omotoso, was an intrusive party who was trying to harvest what he had not sown in the lawsuit.

The court criticised CN Nwagwu, a lawyer, for intentionally deceiving the court and creating unneeded uncertainty that drained the court’s judicial resources.

Nwagwu, according to Judge Omotoso, failed to carry out his duties as Minister in the Temple of Justice, and his behaviour was improper for a lawyer of his standing.
