Victor Odeh, who was found guilty of internet fraud, is 19 years old, not 7- EFCC
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has denied rumours that Victor Oche Odeh, an internet scammer who was just found guilty, is just seven years old.
According to the EFCC, on July 21, 2023, Justice Darius Khobo of the Kaduna State High Court found Odeh guilty.

Yet, the anti-graft agency announced on Monday that “false narratives being bandied about in some section of the social media that the convict is seven years old” have caught its attention.

Yet, the anti-graft agency announced on Monday that “false narratives being bandied about in some section of the social media that the convict is seven years old” have caught its attention.
Odeh’s age was not disclosed in an EFCC press release dated July 11, 2023, along with the ages of all the other prisoners. To be clear, Odeh is nineteen years old.
“You should disregard all of the misleading information that is being spread about him being seven years old on certain social media platforms. A portion of the statement stated, “The EFCC did not “parade” the defendant, and is not a court of law that correctly convicted him.
