In a video circulating online, VeryDarkMan alleged that controversial cross-dresser Idris Okunye, known as Bobrisky, paid 15 million naira to the anti-corruption agency to have money laundering charges dropped when he was smuggled in April. The court sentenced him to six months in prison. The blogger also alleged that Bobrisky paid millions of naira to ensure he was given priority in prison.
Bobrisky has since denied the allegations, but the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) have ordered investigations into the blogger’s allegations.
