Uzodinma receives Certificate of Return from INEC

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State received a Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, on Friday.

The state’s resident electoral commissioner for INEC, Uzodinma, received the certificate in Owerri, Imo State.

After receiving the most votes, INEC declared Uzodinma the victor of the state’s off-cycle gubernatorial election on Saturday.

Athan Achonu of the Labour Party and Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party were defeated by the re-elected governor.
