US Accused of Driving the World Towards World War III – US congresswoman

Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene has cautioned that the United States is provoking a global conflict that could potentially lead to World War III by supporting Ukraine and engaging in a proxy war against Russia.

During an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, Greene emphasized that providing financial support for a foreign conflict does not align with the national security interests of the United States.

Greene highlighted that the ongoing proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, a non-NATO member nation, does not safeguard America’s national security interests and instead brings the country closer to a potential world war.

She further pointed out that while Ukraine is urging the US to expedite the approval of a $60 billion aid package stuck in Congress, American citizens are facing challenges due to the ongoing illegal immigration crisis at the Mexican border.

The handling of border security issues by US President Joe Biden has faced mounting criticism, with concerns raised over the surge in illegal migrants, suspected terrorists, and drug trafficking since he took office in January 2021.

The Israeli leadership issued an apology for an incident involving the unintentional targeting of World Central Kitchen (WCK) aid workers. IDF Chief of General Staff Herzi Halevi acknowledged the mistake and expressed regret, attributing the strike to misidentification.

Israeli President Isaac Herzog conveyed deep sorrow and sincere apologies to the affected aid workers, while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the incident as tragic and unintended, common in times of conflict.

We are frustrated and the public is fed up. We strongly oppose allocating $60 billion to Ukraine because overnight our debt increased by an additional $40 billion, thanks to the exorbitant interest on our massive debt,” Greene asserted.

As of December, the US national debt exceeded $34 trillion, and according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projections in February, over the next decade, more than $12 trillion will be spent solely on interest costs.

Greene cautioned House Speaker Mike Johnson on Wednesday that proceeding with the aid package for Kiev would be one of the most reprehensible actions he could take.

In the meantime, Russia has consistently criticized the Western provision of weapons to Ukraine, arguing that arming Kiev only prolongs the conflict and directly involves the West in the hostilities.
