African Development Bank Group President Akinwumi Adesina has called for strengthening the institutional support mechanism for the African continent.
Adesina’s call came during his address to the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York.
He also noted the need to address biases in the current global credit rating system and stressed the need for the establishment of an African credit rating agency, advocated for by the African Union.
