Prisca Zulu, a woman from Lusaka’s Chipata Compound in Zambia, was caught in her own matrimonial bedroom with a naked man by her husband, Mpanga. Mpanga had returned home unannounced after being away on duty for six weeks.
Upon his arrival, Prisca reacted strangely by peeping through the window and closing the curtain. Suspicious of her behavior, Mpanga entered the house and noticed his wife’s worried and panicked demeanor.
He discovered a strange boxer on their bed and other male clothes scattered on the floor. When Mpanga picked up the boxer, his wife tried to grab it, leading to a scuffle. During the fight, Mpanga fell on a heap of clothes, revealing a naked man hidden beneath.
Mpanga understood why his wife had developed a limp in her walk upon seeing the man’s well-endowed physique.
The naked man, identified as David Mbewe, was taken to the police station with the help of neighbors, while Mpanga kept the clothes as evidence.
Mpanga sought compensation from David for adultery in court, and Mbewe admitted to sleeping with Prisca on two occasions.
Prisca admitted her infidelity and begged for forgiveness, expressing her commitment to their marriage. The magistrate, Harriet Mulenga, ordered Mbewe to compensate Mpanga with K35,000 and provided counseling to Prisca.
