UEFA has announced their Champions League team of the week, and surprisingly, no Real Madrid player made the cut despite their triumph over Manchester City in the second-leg clash.
The team, which was revealed on Thursday, featured Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne, who scored his team’s only goal in the 1-1 draw against Madrid.
Although Real Madrid secured their spot in the semi-finals with a 4-3 penalty shootout victory, it seems that their individual performances were overshadowed by players from other teams.
