Okan Buruk, the manager of Galatasaray, has revealed that before Tuesday night’s UEFA Champions League match between his club and Manchester United, he instructed his players to target Casemiro, a midfielder for United.
Buruk observed the Champions League match between Galatasaray and Man United at Old Trafford. Galatasaray won 3-2.
“We wanted to put pressure on Casemiro in the midfield with (Lucas) Torreira,” Buruk remarked in his post-game interview.
“Kaan (Ayhan) is a player who performs well both on defence and off the ball. We intended to combine the two.
“In my opinion, Kaan accomplished a crucial task. He offered help.
After losing to Bayern Munich last month, Man United now sits in last place in Group A with no points from two games after the outcome against Galatasaray.
Galatasaray, on the other hand, are in second place after the same number of games and have four points.
On the log, the Turkish juggernauts are behind league-leading Bayern Munich.
