The appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Isah Ashiru, against the election of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has been dismissed by the Supreme Court.

The apex court has upheld the decisions of the lower courts, including the tribunal and the court of appeal, which had previously confirmed Uba’s victory in the March 2023 governorship election. The judgment was reached unanimously, and no costs were awarded.
