U-20 World Cup elimination of the Flying Eagles at the hands of Korea Republic
Nigeria was eliminated from this year’s FIFA U-20 World Cup following Sunday’s 1-0 loss to Korea Republic.
The Flying Eagles went more than 120 minutes without scoring.
C. Seok-Hyun scored the game-winning goal for the Koreans in the 95th minute of extra time, after neither team scored during regulation.
They will now face Italy in the competition’s semifinals.
