Tyson Fury, the WBC champion, has commented on Cristiano Ronaldo’s predicament and has cautioned the 37-year-old about the risks of aging.
The Manchester United supporter Fury asserted that Ronaldo’s career is “on the fall.”
“If you look at Cristiano Ronaldo, he is 37 years old, he has the greatest doctors, the best physiotherapists, and he has lived like an egg in Mr. Kipling’s cake,” the British boxer said in a TalkSport interview.
“But even Ronaldo is now slipping, so even if you’ve taken care of yourself like that, it catches up with you. Think of a boxer who has been pummeled for 20 years.
“Regardless of how you have lived your life, the age factor will not wait for anyone. No matter who you are, age will catch up to you eventually, whether you have never had alcohol or run on any hard surfaces.
Since his contract with Manchester United expired last month, Ronaldo, a free agent at the moment, has received a lot of media attention.
