According to the State Police Command, two people are missing in Abia.
They are Mr. Chinwuba Enwereji from Umuekpo and Mr. Nicholas Nwuju from 47 Imo Lane in Umuahia.
Mr. Nicholas Nwuju was last seen on August 18, according to a statement issued by the police public relations officer of the Abia State Police Command, ASP Maureen Chioma Chinaka. The statement further stated that all efforts made by Mr. Nwuju’s family to find him had been unsuccessful.
The 28-year-old Mr Chinwuba Enwereji, who was riding his motorbike when he left the house, has not been seen, according to the police.
In a news statement, the public was urged to contact the police at their local police stations or the police public relations office on Bende Road in Umuahia with any information regarding the whereabouts of the two missing people.
The Abia State Police Command had previously listed two additional people, Mr. Chukwuebuka Abel and Miss Chikaodi James, as missing.
According to reports, Chukwuebuka Abel left his house on August 2 for an unidentified location but never came home.
He has a chocolate complexion, is 28 years old, and lives in Orie Ugba market in Umuahia.
For Miss Chikaodi James, the police said that she was 16 years old, lived at No. 57 Aguiyi Ironsi Street in Umuahia, but went on August 6, 2022, for an unidentified location, and did not return.
Residents of the State, particularly those in Umuahia and Aba, are becoming increasingly alarmed about the increase in reports of missing people and auto theft.
