Two people were killed and three others were taken hostage on September 15 in a hamlet in Kaduna State, according to the police command there.
The development was confirmed by the command’s interim public relations officer, Mr. Mansir Hassan, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Kaduna.
According to Hassan, the incident happened in the state’s Dogon Noma-Unguwan Gamu community under the Kajuru Local Government Area.
He claimed that the robbers attacked the neighbourhood at around 6:30 in the morning, killing and kidnapping the victims.
The spokesperson gave the assurance that the bandits would finally be apprehended and brought before the law. (NAN
