According to Jason Miller, a longstanding adviser to Donald Trump, the announcement that he would run for the White House in 2024 will come next week.

While supporting Republican candidates ahead of this week’s midterm elections, the polarizing former president, who will be 78 when the next election is conducted, has been teasing a potential re-election bid. He has also indicated he will make a “very major statement” on Tuesday.

On his well-known “War Room” podcast, former Trump advisor Steve Bannon was informed by Miller that President Trump will declare his candidacy on Tuesday.

Trump allegedly told Miller, “There doesn’t need to be any doubt, of course I am running,” according to Miller.

Trump is running for president for the third time, having unsuccessfully challenged Joe Biden in 2020.
He then spread false accusations of fraud, including those that sparked a never-before-seen brawl in the US Capitol in Washington.

After some of the candidates he supported in the midterm elections had poor results, Trump made a major statement in Florida.

Even Republican-held districts were lost by some of his hand-picked favorites to Democrats.

Trump had planned to ride a Republican “red wave” that would position him for a second presidential bid, but the party’s margin of victory was far narrower than anticipated.

Republicans now have 211 members in the 435-seat House of Representatives, giving them a narrow majority. However, a runoff election in the southern state of Georgia early in December may determine who controls the Senate.

Even the former president’s main media partner, the influential media conglomerate owned by conservative billionaire Rupert Murdoch, turned against him after the polls.

Trump is the Republican Party’s biggest loser, according to an editorial published on Thursday in The Wall Street Journal, the flagship publication of Murdoch’s News Corp.

Trump was portrayed as “Trumpty Dumpty” who “had a terrific tumble” on the cover of the tabloid New York Post, which was perched on a shaky wall.

More than 100 Republican candidates who contested the results of the 2020 presidential election yet prevailed in their individual contests.

Trump’s early participation into the contest would seem to be part of a strategy to avoid potential criminal charges related to stealing top secret papers from the White House, plans to rig the 2020 election, and the attack on the US Capitol by his followers on January 6, 2017.

In addition, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who was one of the greatest victors in Tuesday’s midterm elections, is his top challenger for the Republican presidential nomination.
