The accomplishment was made on January 27, 2024, during an operation to eliminate several terrorist camps in the Dumburum Forest, according to the announcement.
The statement went on to say that two of the armed terrorists were neutralised by the military during the operation, while the other terrorists managed to flee with varying degrees of bullet wounds.
The survivors, who comprised 19 men, 12 women, and 4 children, were handed over to the Katsina State Government right away by Brigadier General OA Fadairo, the Commander of 17 Brigade Nigerian Army/Sector 2 Operation Hadarin Daji. Fadairo promised to keep up the assault on the bandits’ enclaves.
