The Boko Haram terrorists in Luskori village, located in the Konduga Local Government area of Borno, were successfully ambushed and neutralized by the troops of 73 Battalion, 7 Division Garrison, Operation Hadin Kai.
According to a report from counter insurgency expert Zagazola Makama, the operation took place on January 20 at approximately 1430hrs.
The troops strategically waited for the terrorists and engaged them in a fierce firefight, resulting in the elimination of one terrorist, while the others managed to escape with gunshot wounds.
The brave troops also seized 1 AK 47 rifle, 1 AK magazine, and 9× 7.62 mm special ammunition during the operation.
