Troops Neutralize Arms Supplier Caught with Weapons in Zamfara

Nigerian troops intercept and neutralize an arms supplier transporting weapons in Zamfara, dealing a major blow to criminal networks in the region.

During a nighttime operation in Nasarawa Burkullu, Zamfara State, troops from Operation Fansan Yanma successfully neutralized an individual suspected of supplying arms.

Based on reliable intelligence, security forces apprehended the suspect known as a notorious arms dealer from Anka. When he saw the troops, he tried to escape but was quickly subdued.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama confirmed that initial investigations indicated the suspect was delivering firearms and ammunition to criminal groups in the area.

According to reports, these groups have recently faced a shortage of weapons due to intensified operations by security forces against them.
