On Tuesday, Nigerian Army soldiers killed bandits in the Kachia woodland as part of an operation to clear the area.
This was confirmed to ObasanjoNews24 by Musa Arungo, a local.
The information was also confirmed by Samuel Aruwan, who is the Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs for the state of Kaduna.
He claimed that according to information the Kaduna State Government obtained from the troops, battle patrols along the Kaboresha-Rijana Forest-Kuzo-Kujeni-Gwanto-Kachia axis resulted in the neutralisation of the bandits.
He says that the soldiers set up an ambush along the Gwanto-Kwasau Road and fought bandits riding motorcycles toward the spot.
