The three challenges contesting the proclamation of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 presidential election will be decided on Wednesday, September 6, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal has officially declared after two weeks of doubt.
Umar Mohammed Bangari, the Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal, confirmed the date to OBASANJO NEWS24 on Monday.
According to Bangari, whose court is hosting the Tribunal, every precaution has been taken to ensure a smooth delivering of the judgement in the three cases.
They are the ones submitted by Abubakar Atiku, the PDP’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, the LP’s candidate for president, and the Allied Peoples Movement, or APC.
Bangari made hints that sufficient security had been put in place and that, in order to prevent crowding and security violations, only invited members of political parties and the general public would be permitted entry into the courtroom.
