Transfer: Southampton to prevent Onuachu’s transfer to Trabzonspor

Southampton, a Sky Bet Championship team, wants Paul Onuachu back for the upcoming summer.

Onuachu is on loan at Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super League for the 2023–2024 season.

The 29-year-old, who has six goals in eight league games, has left a lasting impression on the team.

Although Southampton is not yet prepared to approve the transfer, Trabzonspor is now keen to make the change permanent.

Onuachu signed a three-year contract with Southampton in January after leaving Belgian Pro League team KRC Genk.

Despite making 18 appearances with the Saints, the lanky striker was unable to score any goals.
